Principle of carburetor

By air blow from A, a pressure lower than atmospheric pressure ( negative pressure)is generated of B and fuel is drawn out.
In carburetor the point A is called the venturi, it is provided in the air passage within the carburetor to increase the flow rate of air.

Structure of carburetor

Carburetor basically consist of a primary system for normal running, a secondary system for high speed heavy load running and float system.A starting mechanism,an acceleraty mechanism, a power valve mechanism,a secondary switchover mechanism,etc. are also attached.
